You Might Be a Purpose-Driven Business Leader If...

Running a small business with big dreams isn't just about the bottom line. Yes, we do business to make a profit. Profit is the nourishment that sustains the mechanism that fulfills the dream. Some interesting quirks come with that approach, so I thought we could have some fun and take a light-hearted look at what it means to be at the helm of a purpose-driven business.

I’m always seeking to connect with lightness and fun while we’re doing the sometimes serious work of fulfilling our purpose through our business. This morning when I was checking out the sunrise, I found myself chuckling when the old Jeff Foxworthy 'You might be a Redneck if...' shtick randomly came to mind. Hilarious stuff that always made me laugh. And a beautiful example of how it brightens our Being to enjoy our own idiosyncrasies.

It got me thinking – what about the world of purpose-driven business? It's a whole different ball game because running a small business with big dreams isn't just about the bottom line. Yes, we do business to make a profit - that’s the nourishment that sustains the mechanism that fulfills the dream.  But we conscious, purpose-driven leaders have a whole different way of integrating life and work and purpose into a holistic lifestyle. And with that approach comes some interesting quirks.
